Reporting to: Senior HR Advisor
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Junior HR Advisor Employee Relations to join our HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your HR career while gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of employee relations matters.
You’ll play a key role in supporting managers, coordinating HR activity, and managing lower-level ER cases, ensuring a consistent and compliant approach in line with company policy and employment law.

Manage the HR inbox, prioritising queries and directing cases appropriately across the HR team
- Prepare and issue daily staff reports and HR case updates
- Act as a point of contact for managers, providing guidance on:

Disciplinary and grievance matters

Absence management (short and long-term)

Performance and probation reviews

Flexible working requests
- Manage lower-level employee relations cases from start to finish
- Support managers with absence processes, including Occupational Health referrals where appropriate
- Flag high-risk or safeguarding concerns to senior HR colleagues
- Take minutes and support formal HR meetings
- Prepare documentation including investigation packs, invite letters, and outcome letters
- Maintain accurate HR records and update case management systems
- Support DBS processes, including referrals and risk assessments
- Assist with HR reporting, projects, and training delivery
- Keep up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice

CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) is advantageous
