Job Purpose
This is a Fixed Term Contract (ending December 2026)
The post holder may be involved in working in any area of current or future operations, including but not limited to emptying of Refuse Collection, Recycling, Garden waste and any other duties that may be part of the operation either now or in the future. Your duties will include working manually in support of the operation, working towards providing a high quality, cost effective service to our clients. You will ensure that you comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times. You will ensure compliance with Cheshire West Recycling’s Policies and Contract specifications as will be advised to you from time to time. You will report immediately to your line manager any matters which may have an adverse effect on your ability to perform the service for which you are employed and any matter which may have an adverse effect on the performance of the services themselves.

Principal Accountabilities
· To establish working relationships with Managers, Supervisors and other staff.
· To carry out your responsibilities in an efficient and safe manner, ensuring that Health & Safety matters are at the forefront at all times.
· Ensuring that all operational work is carried out to specification and to the complete satisfaction of your Supervisors and client officers.
· To behave at all times in a manner that is befitting of a Cheshire West Recycling employee and that you do not act in a manner that may bring the Company, the Client or its agents into disrepute.
· To ensure that you follow the instructions of any authorised person at all times.
Other requirements
- Must be 18+ years of age and able to commit to a 5 day working week 07.00-15.30 (It is a condition of your employment that you will work overtime if required to do so, as all rounds must be completed at the end of each day) and you must have the ability to work as part of a team within a manually intensive setting
Full PPE, training and health and safety induction will be provided.
