Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Leyton, London.
As a Staff Member, you will be trained to work across multiple areas of the restaurant, including cooking, grilling, food preparation, cashier duties, and customer service. You will play an important role in ensuring efficient daily operations while delivering an excellent experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to company recipes and food safety standards.
- Operate the grill and ensure food is cooked consistently and presented to a high standard.
- Take customer orders and process payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
- Prepare ingredients and replenish stock throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen and front-of-house area.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Support stock counts, deliveries, and basic record keeping when required.
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Comfortable using a cash register/POS system.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, takeaway, fast food, or hospitality environment is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Employment Details
- Pay: From £12.71 per hour (National Living Wage for employees aged 21+), with age-appropriate National Minimum Wage rates applying where required by UK law.
