Class 2 Driver required for non-mechanical plant hire & sales company. Immediate start. Overtime available.
Job requirements:
- Class 2 Driving Licence
- Full Clean Licence with in-date HIAB
- Good knowledge of local area
- Valid CPC card
- Able to use Analogue/Digital Tacho
- Manual gearbox experience
- Good communication skills
- Experience with ratchets/chains/load binders
- Completion of daily vehicle defect check
- Carry out deliveries on a multi-drop basis
- Dealing with customers on site
- Working closely with office staff, complying with company standards e.g. Health and Safety, Fire Safety etc.
- Strictly observe traffic rules, regulations and speed limits
- Assist with yard duties when driving not required
- Starting Hourly Rate - £16.75 (after 3 months probation - £17.25)
