Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed
- Manage time effectively to handle busy periods while maintaining quality and speed
- Operate equipment like espresso machines, grinders, and blenders safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment
Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to uphold health standards
- Experience in serving customers in fast-paced environments is advantageous
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
