We are currently recruiting experienced Commercial Plumbers to work across a range of commercial buildings throughout London.
The role will involve planned and reactive plumbing maintenance, installations and repairs, including work within plant rooms.
0600 to 1800 - 4 On 4 Off shift pattern Van and fuel card included
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out commercial plumbing installation, maintenance and repair work
- Working within plant rooms across TfL stations and depots
- Installing, repairing and replacing commercial pipework systems
- Working on copper, steel, plastic and other commercial pipework
- Maintaining and repairing pumps, valves, expansion vessels and associated equipment
- Installing and replacing sanitaryware, taps, toilets, basins and drainage components
- Investigating leaks, blockages, pressure issues and system faults
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
- Performing basic fault finding on hot and cold-water systems
- Working on heating, water distribution and boosted water systems
- Reading drawings, specifications and work instructions
- Completing work to the required TfL and site safety standards
- Providing clear updates on completed work and any additional defects identified
- Keeping plant rooms and work areas clean, safe and organised
- Working closely with site supervisors, engineers and other trades
- Travelling between TfL stations and depots when required
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a commercial plumber
- Relevant plumbing qualifications
- Good knowledge of commercial hot and cold-water systems
- Ability to complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Comfortable working within operational stations, depots and public environments
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
Pay: £48,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
