Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all areas are hygienic, tidy, and presentable in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain cleaning schedules and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Adhere to company policies regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates eager to learn.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Good organisational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during shifts.
- Physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties over extended periods, including lifting and bending as required.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive approach towards teamwork and customer service.
