We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Childcare Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care and early years education.
The Role
As Senior Childcare Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the setting, lead and support staff, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safeguarding standards. You will play a key role in shaping the learning environment and maintaining strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of childcare professionals
- Ensure high-quality care, learning, and development opportunities for all children
- Oversee safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory compliance
- Manage staffing, training, and performance development
- Maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers
- Monitor resources, and operational efficiency
- Support inspections and ensure readiness for regulatory visits
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or above (or equivalent)
- Significant experience in a senior or supervisory childcare role
- Strong knowledge of early years frameworks and safeguarding practices
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to inspire and develop a team
- Pass an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable
- Management qualification (e.g. Level 5 in Leadership for Childcare)
- Experience managing administrative systems
- First Aid certification

Pay: £14.30-£16.00 per hour
