Katzecure Services Ltd is seeking practical, reliable and motivated fencing installers to join our friendly, hard-working team on a self-employed contract basis.
This position operates on a 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday, giving you a 3-day weekend every week.
You’ll work under a services agreement at an agreed day rate, helping to build and install our specialist cat containment systems in gardens across the UK.
This is a hands-on role that combines craftsmanship, outdoor work and national travel. The position begins with a 4-week trial period, with the opportunity to progress into a Team Leader role for the right candidate.
Working Pattern
- 4-day working week (Monday to Thursday)
- Early starts on Monday mornings
- Later finishes on Thursdays
- Regular overnight stays while working away
- 3-day weekend every week
Duties
- Installing bespoke wooden and aluminium cat containment systems
- Using power tools and hand tools confidently
- Working to detailed instructions and delivering a high standard of finish
- Travelling nationally Monday to Thursday with overnight stays
- Loading materials from our yard near Newton Abbot/Torquay
- Providing friendly, respectful service to customers and their cats
Qualifications & Skills
- Background in fencing, carpentry or general woodwork preferred
- Competent with a variety of power tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to work away from home Monday to Thursday
