Nursing Home Manager
Location: Long Eaton, Derbyshire
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits
Amber Mace is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded care provider for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead a well-established nursing home in the Long Eaton area.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the operational and clinical performance of the home, ensuring excellent resident outcomes, strong regulatory compliance, and a culture built around dignity, compassion, and person-centred care.
The Role
As Nursing Home Manager, you will provide strong leadership and direction across the service, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained while driving continuous improvement and supporting the development of your team.
You will work closely with residents, relatives, staff, healthcare professionals, and senior management to ensure the home delivers safe, effective, and outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities
Take full operational responsibility for the day-to-day management of the nursing home.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation, and best practice standards.
Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated care and nursing team.
Maintain excellent standards of clinical governance, safeguarding, and quality assurance.
Monitor audits, care plans, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident experience and service quality.
Manage staffing levels, recruitment, retention, and team performance.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, commissioners, and external healthcare professionals.
Support occupancy growth and maintain strong commercial performance.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have:
Proven experience managing a nursing home or complex care service.
A strong understanding of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks.
A successful track record of delivering high-quality care outcomes.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Experience managing budgets, occupancy, and operational performance.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance, and quality improvement.
The ability to inspire and develop teams while maintaining high standards.
