Kitchen Assistant / Cook Wanted

Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Due to increased demand, we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant / Cook to join our friendly, supportive team preparing fresh, balanced meals for our babies, children, and holiday club adventurers.
What the role involves:
- Preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks
- Supporting with meal service for nursery and out of school children
- Following recipes and portion guidance
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Completing kitchen paperwork and food safety records
- Helping create a positive mealtime experience for children
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience cooking and working in a kitchen (essential)
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (required, but can be arranged for the successful candidate)
- Qualification in Food Preparation (preferred)
- Knowledge of food allergens and dietary requirements (preferred)
We are looking for someone who can keep calm when the ovens are busy, enjoys being part of a friendly team, and understands that good food can turn an ordinary nursery day into something special.
