The Restaurant Kitchen is an energetic, busy area which supports the Restaurant, as it prepares cooks and delivers high quality food. Demand for our great food is increasing daily and we are looking for hard working individuals that want to learn and grow within the business, working with talented chefs to make sure our customers are delighted every day.
The Kitchen Assistant is an important part of the team who ensures that all areas and equipment are clear and clean at all times. They also need to be organised to ensure that all stock delivered is in the correct place.
Working directly with Senior Chefs, the individual will undertake any other tasks delegated to them, including assisting with food preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries and store in designated areas
- Rotate stock as new stock is delivered
- Clean and tidy all storage areas
- Ensure all kitchen floors are clean, tidy and water free at all times
- Ensure all working surfaces are clean and clear
- Wash up kitchen equipment for further use
- Any other tasks as allocated by the kitchen staff
