Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, with occasional flexibility required

Specialist Project Logistics (SPL) is a growing logistics and installation business specialising in the transportation, delivery, positioning and installation of commercial equipment throughout the UK.
We work with major national brands and deliver a wide range of projects across the catering, hospitality, retail and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Doncaster.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position that combines warehouse responsibilities with occasional delivery and site support duties.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment and materials are received, stored, prepared and dispatched efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of organisation, safety and customer service.
There will also be occasions where you will be required to assist with deliveries, installations and site-based projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Operating forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
- Maintaining warehouse organisation and stock accuracy
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory management
- Preparing equipment and materials for project installations
- Ensuring warehouse housekeeping standards are maintained
- Assisting with deliveries to customer sites when required
- Supporting installation teams on-site as workload dictates
- Completing delivery documentation and vehicle checks
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
Essential Requirements
✅ Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Previous warehouse experience
✅ Ability to safely load and unload equipment
✅ Good attention to detail and organisational skills
✅ Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
✅ Positive attitude and willingness to support different areas of the business
✅ Reliable, punctual and professional
Desirable Skills
- Experience driving commercial vehicles
- Experience within logistics, transport or installation environments
- Knowledge of stock control systems
- Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems
- CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working on construction, catering equipment or commercial project sites
