The Role
Working within our paintshop, you will be responsible for preparing stainless steel and aluminium letters, panels, and signage components ready for the powder coating process. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the high-quality standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing stainless steel and aluminium letters, panels, and sign components for powder coating.
- Cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting products prior to painting.
- Hanging and arranging components on paint lines and racks.
- Ensuring surfaces are free from defects and contaminants.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Supporting paintshop colleagues and wider production teams as required.
- Following quality standards and production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
Physical Demands
This is a hands-on, physically active role within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate should be comfortable with:
- Spending the majority of the shift standing and moving around the workshop.
- Regular lifting, carrying, and handling of stainless steel and aluminium letters, panels, and signage components.
- Working with both small intricate items and larger sign panels.
- Repetitive tasks requiring good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Working to production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Wearing appropriate PPE and following all health and safety procedures.

Desirable Experience

- Manufacturing or production environments.
- Powder coating or paintshop operations.
- Surface preparation and finishing of stainless steel or aluminium products.
- Signage, metalwork, fabrication, or engineering industries.
