The role
We are recruiting a Trust Senior to join and complement the trust team within the Private Wealth and Estates Group.
The team is growing in response to an expanding and more demanding client base, and this is an excellent opportunity to join a team at the next stage in its growth.
The role will predominately be to prepare trust accounts and tax returns for the wealthiest of our private clients and this will include both UK and offshore trusts as well as underlying offshore companies and death estates.
The responsibilities
- Bookkeeping for trusts
- Assisting with the administration of trusts (including monitoring cashflow and making payments as well as HMRC TRS and AEOI and French reporting requirements)
- Preparing trust accounts
- Preparing trust tax returns (including IHT returns and calculating offshore trust pools)
- Arranging and preparing for trustees’ meetings
- Assisting with various advisory work and projects
The Senior will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with trustees, their advisors and beneficiaries. We offer a busy workload and the opportunity for career progression for the right candidate.
You
You will be committed to a career in trust accounts and tax and will have some experience in this area. You will have confidence in dealing with partners and clients, as well as excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. The ability to provide accurate work in a timely and cost-effective manner is essential. With this role comes the pre-requisites that the candidate is motivated, committed and flexible with the ability to meet deadlines, use their own initiative and problem solve. You will be a team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

- A 35-hour working week with a hybrid working policy with the flexibility to work from home for up to three days per week (our core hours are 10-4)
