Events & Marketing Manager
Location: Snugburys Ice Cream
Hours: 4 days per week, including some weekends when events are running
Salary:£40,000 full-time equivalent, pro rata for 4 days
About the role: We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and creative Events & Marketing Manager to join our small, friendly team at Snugburys.
This is a varied and exciting role for someone who loves events, social media, marketing and coming up with brilliant ideas. You’ll play a key part in bringing our events and marketing activity to life, working closely with the directors and the wider team.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning, organising and delivering events from start to finish including organising and attending trade shows
- Managing our social media channels across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms
- Assist creating fun, engaging and innovative content
- Developing new marketing ideas and campaigns
- Helping to grow our audience, footfall and brand awareness
- Working alongside the directors to develop and deliver marketing and events strategy
- Coordinating suppliers, contractors and event requirements
- Creating structured plans, schedules and timelines for events
- supporting photography, video and content creation
- Keeping on top of multiple projects and deadlines
- Looking for new and exciting ways to make Snugburys stand out
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised and structured with excellent attention to detail
- Naturally creative and full of ideas
- Confident using social media and understands what makes content perform
- Experienced in planning and running events
- Proactive, enthusiastic and happy to get stuck in
- Able to manage several projects at once
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with people
- Comfortable working closely with directors and taking ownership of projects
- Commercially minded, while still being creative and playful
- Flexible and happy to work weekends when events are taking place
