We are looking for full time care workers for the shifts 14:30pm- 22:00pm and alternate weekends. Enhanced DBS check is required-Paid for by us!

Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities including personal hygiene, mobility, and medication reminders to promote independence and safety.
- Provide compassionate care tailored to individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments, employing behavior management techniques as needed.
- Support meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met while respecting dietary restrictions.
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Support clients with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety.
- Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, reporting any changes in health or behavior to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is highly desirable however is not essential as full training will be given.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is a MUST due to the nature of this role.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on compassionate communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts from 14:30 to 22:00 hours, adapting to the needs of clients.
