Senior Support Worker – RBWM Independent Living Services

Our Independent Living Services deliver tailored support for autistic individuals and people with learning or physical disabilities in the Royal Borough. Recognizing that everyone has unique interests, needs, and goals, we support people to do what matters most to them. By providing as much - or as little - help as needed, we empower people to maintain their independence and live life to the fullest.
Due to an exciting wave of internal promotions, we are recruiting for a Senior Support Worker to join the RBWM Independent Living Services team on a full-time basis.
The Role
As an experienced Support Worker, this in an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career - utilising your skills and knowledge to support and develop an established team whilst ensuring the delivery of quality care.
In your role as a Senior, you will support the Service Manager in the day-to-day operations; duties will include administration and overseeing the care team, with responsibilities such as rota management, conducting observations and supervisions, and ensuring training is completed in a timely fashion. You will also support with delivery of care to the people we support, leading by example to provide high quality, person-centred support, and care to a range of individuals with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities. Services are fast-paced environments; flexibility and a proactive approach are a must for this role as you may be required to take on additional responsibilities and cover shifts in absence of staff.
The successful applicant will be placed to support the service(s) that best fits their experience and skills. RBWM ILS is comprised of six services, supporting people with a range of different needs and abilities across Maidenhead.
Being able to drive and having your own vehicle will be advantageous for this role.
