Job description | Accounts Assistant
We are recruiting a further role into our experienced finance team and looking for a capable Accounts Assistant to join us.
The role will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to meet and work alongside colleagues at all levels within the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing sales and purchase ledger invoices, recording data into accounting software
- Verifying the accuracy of supplier accounts and statements
- Respond to supplier enquiries and track to resolution as appropriate
- Verifying CIS sub-contractor and recording invoices
- Support in managing employee expense claims
- Assisting finance team with administrative duties, answering phone calls, responding to emails and preparing documents
- Other ad hoc tasks and support to business as required
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills alongside good attention to detail. The ability to communicate confidently is required. Proficiency in Microsoft packages will be beneficial to the role. Experience with Xero would be advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Office-based
Salary: Real Living Wage Employer
Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
