Are you looking for a fresh challenge in a new team? We are looking for an Information Analyst to join our Business Intelligence Team. This role will be in the corporate analytics team and will be responsible for ensuring we can submit all our statutory, commissioning and performance monitoring requirements.
This role will be vital in ensuring that we deliver a high quality and innovative Business Intelligence service. We are continually evolving to ensure that routine reporting is as efficient and effective as possible and we are providing detailed analysis.
The team have an ambitious data strategy and are an early adopter of the NHS National Competency Framework for Data Professionals. We have a great team ethos and are keen to ensure personal and professional development in a fast paced environment.
The team currently works in a hybrid model, with a minimum expectation of four days per week on site at the Wirral or Liverpool offices and the option to work from home on the remaining day.
Analytical and Judgement Skills
1. Manipulate, analyse and present clinical and activity data using a variety of systems and applications e.g. Microsoft Excel, SQL Management Studio and Power BI.
2. Utilise data visualisation tools to ensure information is displayed in a consistent departmental format.
3. The production and delivery of timely, accurate and relevant information as part of a team to meet internal and external statutory requirements and other routine reporting functions.
4. Utilise the Trust Business Intelligence reporting portal as a retrospective and prospective resource for the provision of Clinical, Management and Performance Information Intelligence. To undertake regular validation of datasets and information (e.g. referrals, waiting lists, inpatient and outpatient activity).
5. The production and delivery of a wide range of statutory returns to Clinical Commissioning Groups, NHS England and other statutory bodies.
6. To provide intelligence to support the statutory returns process e.g. Production of trend reports and information analysis to facilitate exception reporting.
