Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and colleagues alike. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Candidates will be required to work shifts throughout the week, including weekends.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary supplies and amenities, following all brand standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries professionally.
- Assist in laundry duties as required, including taking delivery, and organising linen.
- Running breakfast service each morning and ensuring it is cleared down efficiently.
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred, but not vital, as full training will be given.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
