We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically minded EPOS Support Technician to join our fast-growing business.
This is a varied role combining customer support, remote troubleshooting, on-site installations and product demonstrations. You will work closely with customers to ensure their EPOS systems are installed correctly, running reliably and fully understood by their teams.
Key responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to install and configure EPOS equipment and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, printer and payment-related issues.
- Demonstrate EPOS products and train customers and their staff.
- Handle day-to-day support enquiries by phone, email and remote support tools.
- Diagnose issues efficiently and ensure customer problems are fully resolved.
- Escalate complex technical issues when required and maintain clear support records.
- Assist with testing, updating and improving EPOS products and procedures.
- Build positive, professional relationships with customers.
About you
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently both on-site and in the office.
- Patient, organised and confident dealing with customers.
- Able to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Good general IT knowledge, including Windows, networking, printers and tablets.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer locations.
- Previous experience with EPOS, retail, hospitality, payments or technical support is desirable but not essential.
