Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and functional.
This role involves working with various tools and machinery and performing general grounds maintenance. The ideal applicant will have a passion for creating outdoor spaces with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Conduct landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting
- Operate power tools such as mixers, cutters, trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers efficiently and safely.
- Use hand tools for planting, digging, edging, and other gardening tasks.
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Assist with construction tasks such as setting foundations for features like patios or pathways.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of power tools and machinery such as excavators.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Physical fitness to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.
- Construction experience is a plus but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s licence is essential for transporting equipment or materials between sites. Pay: £150.00-£180.00 per day
