Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our small friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for vehicles.
The Vehicle Technician will work in a well-equipped workshop environment, utilising their technical expertise to uphold high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repairs
- Carry out equipment repair and maintenance tasks to ensure workshop safety and operational efficiency
- Assist with vehicle assembly and component installation as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in vehicle repair or maintenance, with a strong mechanical knowledge base
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and routine maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform equipment repair tasks efficiently and safely
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
- Prior experience with diagnostics, electrical systems, or specialised automotive equipment is desirable
