Manufacturing Operative – Oldbury – £13.35–£15.00 per Hour

Shift Pattern: Rotating Morning and Afternoons
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Manufacturing Operatives to join their busy production team in Oldbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established manufacturing business, with full training provided. Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be working at the final stage of the manufacturing process, where steel tubing has been formed and cut to the required size.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out quality checks on finished tubing using a micrometre and Vernier – full training will be provided.
- Checking products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Strapping and banding finished tubing using a banding machine.
- Preparing finished products for transfer to the warehouse or stores.
- Working safely and following all company procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
- Working as part of a team to meet production and quality requirements.
Shift Pattern:
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- Night shift – to be introduced in the future
