Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently
- Handle phone enquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information about services and facilities
- Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring their needs are met with courtesy and professionalism
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and resolve any issues promptly
- Provide local information and recommendations to enhance guest experience
- Uphold the hotel’s standards of hospitality, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a hospitality setting
- Organised, attentive to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Friendly demeanour with a professional appearance and attitude
- Knowledge of hotel management software or reservation systems is advantageous
