Join for 40 hours in our local 30 seater upmarket micro pub in Hillsborough as a Manager of a few staff and lead the vibrant heart of our community-focused establishment! This dynamic role offers the opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and foster a welcoming atmosphere. As the driving force behind our pub’s success, you will manage staff, maintain high standards of service, and uphold food safety and quality, we do some simple food events. Duties
- Supervise daily pub operations, ensuring smooth service and a lively atmosphere
- Lead and motivate a small team of staff including servers, bartenders.
- Oversee food preparation when we have events, processes to uphold quality standards and food safety regulations (small events)
- Manage inventory levels for beverages, and supplies to ensure efficient stock control, till and cash.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, fire and emergency lighting and including food safety and hygiene standards, if in qualified we will train you.
- Coordinate staff schedules, training sessions, and performance reviews to foster team growth
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- As a small Pub we really need a friendly person who loves to chat to people, ask if they want more drinks, get reviews and arrange small events like quizzes etc.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in running a pub, ordering stock, line cleaning.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members and the 2 directors, weekly meetings.
