Full-Time Housekeeper – Private Family Homes
ESSENTIAL: FULL CLEAN DRIVING LICENSE

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and trustworthy Full-Time Housekeeper to look after three private family homes located within a short distance of each other.
This is a long-term position of trust, working within the homes of company directors and their families. The successful applicant will need to be highly dependable, discreet and respectful of the families' privacy at all times.
Each property is a busy family home with young children and pets, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a family environment and takes pride in keeping a home clean, organised and well cared for.
Main Duties
The role will involve all normal household housekeeping duties, including:
- General cleaning and maintaining the homes to a high standard
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
- Washing and laundry
- Ironing and putting clothes away
- Changing beds and managing bed linen
- Keeping bedrooms and living areas clean and tidy
- General household organisation
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the properties
- Other reasonable household duties as required
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' previous domestic cleaning or housekeeping experience.
You must also:
- Be extremely trustworthy and discreet
- Be reliable, punctual and dependable
- Have excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleaning
- Be able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Be organised and able to prioritise tasks
- Be comfortable working around young children and pets
- Understand and respect the privacy and confidentiality required when working in private family homes
- Be friendly and approachable while maintaining professional boundaries
- Hold a full, clean driving licence
- Be able to provide 2 satisfactory references from previous employers or clients
Driving
A full, clean driving licence is essential, as the role involves working between three properties. The houses are all located within close proximity to one another.
Hours
Full-time position – Monday to Friday
Exact working hours can be discussed with the successful applicant.
