Fulfilment Operative and Customer Services Assistant

The Fulfilment Operative and Customer Services Assistant is an important member of our team supporting service delivery to our clients. The role has two distinct areas of responsibility with time divided between each function in a manner which ensures each meets the company’s needs.
- As a Fulfilment Operative you will work as a key part of the fulfilment team to ensure all orders are prepared, packed and dispatched correctly.
- As Customer Services Assistant you will be part of a small team who play a vital role providing our clients with premium Customer Service. Core functions include processing order returns along with customer liaison to resolve order queries and complaints, providing the very best in Customer Service.

Role and Responsibilities
- To ensure all gifting products are produced to the highest standards by fulfilling and packing client orders to the required specification ensuring that correct items are picked and then packed correctly
- Use correct packaging materials as per instructions ensuring that goods are safe and secure
- Dealing with customer queries in order to address and resolve customer complaints or concerns, escalating issues to the relevant departments when necessary
- Processing and managing returns, refunds and tracking customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Liaise with the fulfilment team and courier companies to coordinate shipments to customer
- Monitoring, updating and tracking customer queries using our internal databases
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent team working skills
- High levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Some IT skills would be advantageous
- Detail-oriented and organised, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Has a strong focus on getting things “right first time” within required deadlines
- A calm, positive and highly flexible team player who is effective under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively both in writing and on the telephone
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints or difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.
Schedule
Hours of work are 9.00am to 5.00pm working on Monday to Friday each week. At peak periods some overtime and additional hours may be required to cover extended hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
