Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bathroom Fitter and Plumber. Main responsibilities and expectations are as follows.
- Install, repair, and maintain bathroom fixtures including sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, and associated plumbing components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to execute installations accurately
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks or faults and carry out repairs accordingly
- Carry out basic carpentry work related to bathroom fitting such as framing or adjustments to fit fixtures properly
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and building regulations
- Assist in the realisation of customised bathroom designs by providing mechanical expertise
Skills
- Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair work
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to bathroom fitting and plumbing systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling fixtures or materials
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during installations
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques applicable to bathroom fitting projects
- Experience with commercial driving is advantageous for transporting materials or equipment between sites
- Competence in assembly tasks related to bathroom fixtures and fittings
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precise workmanship
