Volunteer with Blossom Group
Real-world experience. Real community impact. Real change.
Are you passionate about public health and health equity? Whether you're an experienced specialist, a trainee, a student, or simply someone who cares deeply about improving health outcomes in our communities — Blossom Group has a place for you.
Who we're looking for:

Students — MPH, undergraduate, nursing, medical, allied health, and social science students welcome
Passionate Advocates — anyone committed to reducing health inequalities and championing community wellbeing
Why volunteer with Blossom Group?
✔ Hands-on experience with diverse and underserved communities
✔ Build your portfolio with real-world public health projects
✔ Develop core competencies in health promotion, advocacy, and community engagement
✔ Network with health professionals, advisers, solicitors, and community leaders
✔ Gain references and evidence for your training portfolio, UKPHR registration, or CV
✔ Contribute to meaningful, measurable change in health equity
What you could get involved in:

- Community outreach — reaching marginalised and underserved groups
- Tackling health inequalities — addressing the social determinants of health at grassroots level
- Wellbeing sessions & workshops — sharing practical health information with the community
- Research & data collection — evidencing community needs and outcomes
- Cross-sector partnership work — collaborating with our Community Box Advice Service, Citizens Advice, and legal partners on issues where health meets law (housing, domestic abuse, immigration health rights)
- Advocacy — giving voice to communities whose health needs are too often overlooked
Perfect for those who believe:
- Health is a right, not a privilege
- Communities know their own needs best
- Real change happens on the ground, not just in policy documents
- Everyone deserves the chance to live a healthy, dignified life

What you'll walk away with:
