NIGHTS:
4 ON 4 OFF - £13.40 p/hour
As a Warehouse and Yard Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the warehouse and surrounding yard areas are clean, organised, and maintained to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in a hands-on, practical role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse, including sweeping floors, removing debris and tidying up work areas.
- Clean and tidy the yard area, ensuring it is free of rubbish and hazards.
- Assist with waste management and disposal, ensuring recycling procedures are followed.
- Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is kept in good working order.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Skills and Experience:
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Ability to use basic cleaning equipment.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new tasks.
- Experienced at using PPT/LLOP and counterbalance forklift (licence or in house training proved)
