Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Deputy Manager to join our team at Chapel Garth and drive operational excellence across our organization. Chapel Garth is a 34 bed residential care home located in Bentley, Doncaster. In this pivotal role, you will support the management team in overseeing daily activities, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a positive environment for staff and clients alike. Your leadership will help implement strategic initiatives, enhance service delivery, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Duties
- Assist the management team in planning, coordinating, and executing daily operational tasks to meet organizational goals.
- Support staff development by providing coaching, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth, including facilitating training sessions when needed.
- Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
- Monitor service quality and client satisfaction levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow across teams.
- Contribute to the development of teaching materials and training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Manage administrative responsibilities such as reporting, record keeping, and scheduling to maintain efficient operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an educational or organizational setting.
- Strong background in teaching or training roles, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams and fostering collaborative environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances while maintaining focus on objectives.
- Prior experience in developing or delivering training programs is highly desirable.
