Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic, office-based team in Gateshead. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer satisfaction and experience in e-commerce customer service. This role requires close collaboration with our warehouse and website teams to enhance the customer journey across all sales platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Manage and resolve escalated customer enquiries across eBay, Shopify, and Amazon.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfilment and with the website team to improve online customer interfaces.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement customer service policies tailored to our multi-platform operations.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyse customer service metrics and prepare reports to drive continuous improvement.
- Training and Development: Identify skill gaps and organise training sessions for team members.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a customer service role within e-commerce ideal but not essential.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (eBay, Shopify, Amazon).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with customer service software and CRM systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
