About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and reliable Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in ensuring every patient receives a warm welcome and excellent customer service from their first enquiry through to the completion of their treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and visitors with a warm and professional manner.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails.
- Booking, amending, and cancelling appointments using our clinic management system.
- Managing clinicians' diaries and appointment schedules.
- Registering new patients and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Liaising with patients, practitioners, and private medical insurers.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
- Supporting the clinical team with general administrative duties.
- Ensuring patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- A friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work well in a busy environment and multitask effectively.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (experience working with Cliniko but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
