Job Summary
Join the vibrant atmosphere of a bustling festival as a Festival Bar Staff member! In this energetic role, you will be the face of the event’s beverage service, ensuring guests enjoy their experience with friendly, efficient service. The event will take place on the 29th & 30th of August!
Duties
- Serve a variety of drinks accurately and efficiently to festival-goers, maintaining high standards of hospitality and customer service
- Check IDs and ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol licensing regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions with basic math skills, providing correct change and receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout your shift
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety for all attendees
- Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth service and support other festival operations when required
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is required
- Serving experience helps in efficiently managing guest orders and providing excellent customer care
- Strong time management skills enable you to handle high-volume periods confidently
- Basic math skills are necessary for processing payments accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a lively festival atmosphere is essential
