Manufacturing Technician
No previous experience necessary as full training will be provided.
Working hours: 9am-5pm 3 days per week.
Fixed term contract of 6 months. Sick leave cover.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing bowstrings for the competitive archery market
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure efficient and safe production processes
- Monitor production output and perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs as needed
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and inventory levels
Requirements:
- Minimum GCSE qualified.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work to targets
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Good maths and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and maintain continuous use of hands through the work day
