Job Overview
We are seeking an ambitious, GDC-registered Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse looking for their next career step: we are specifically looking for someone with the drive and capability to progress into a Lead Dental Nurse role in the future as our practices continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Provide high-quality chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Infection Control: Manage the preparation and turnaround of treatment rooms, strictly adhering to HTM 01-05 compliance and cross-infection control protocols.
- Clinical Accuracy: Accurately record medical histories and clinical notes while supporting clinicians with patient assessments.
- Practice Flow: Efficiently manage instruments, materials, and surgery stock levels.
- Patient Care: Provide clear, empathetic oral hygiene and post-treatment advice, collaborating with our friendly reception and clinical teams.
Requirements
- Certification: Fully Qualified Dental Nurse with active GDC registration.
- Compliance: Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of HTM 01-05 and CQC guidelines.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with dental software systems (e.g., Software of Excellence / SOE, SFD, or Carestream R4).
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills with a professional, reassuring manner.
