We are looking for a Housing Casework & Support Officer to join our team in Leicester. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys supporting people, building positive relationships, and making a difference within local communities.
About the Role
As a Housing Casework & Support Officer, you will work directly with residents, providing practical housing-related support and helping them achieve greater independence. You will also work closely with colleagues and partner organisations to ensure residents receive appropriate guidance and access to relevant services.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive and professional relationships with residents.
- Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs and agreed goals.
- Assist residents with housing-related matters, budgeting, appointments, and accessing local services.
- Encourage residents to develop independent living skills.
- Maintain accurate records and complete support documentation.
- Carry out regular property visits and report maintenance or health and safety concerns.
- Complete routine health and safety checks in line with company procedures.
- Support residents to understand and meet their tenancy responsibilities.
- Liaise with external agencies and professionals where appropriate.
- Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns in accordance with company procedures.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and well-maintained living environment.
- Attend team meetings and mandatory training.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GDPR, and health and safety requirements.
- Carry out other reasonable duties consistent with the role.

Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- This role is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
- Ability to work on-site in Leicester.
