Support Worker – Brain Injury & Learning Difficulties (York)
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Hours: 36 hours per week consecutive
Weekday £17.00 per hour
Weekends £18.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide one-to-one support for a 26-year-old male living with a brain injury and learning difficulties in his own home in York. This is a rewarding opportunity to help someone live independently and thrive in a safe, supportive environment.
About the Role
You will be supporting the individual with:
- Daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Community and social activities
- Promoting independence and wellbeing
- Managing routines and providing emotional support
Shift Pattern
- 36 hours per week
- Typically worked as:
- Day shift/evening/sleeping night
- Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the individual
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in support work, ideally with brain injury or learning disabilities
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential)
