We are seeking a passionate and dedicated self-motivated Barista to join a small team on a part volunteer, part paid basis.
The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes
- Assist customers with their orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the small café.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the café
Requirements
- Previous experience as a speciality barista is a must
- We are a small cafe so working and managing alone is a must
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers
- 3 to 4 shifts per week with half of which would be volunteer.
- Morning starts
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
