Job overview: The Front of House is the first employee the guest comes in contact with, and this initial interaction is vital to the guest’s experience and impression of our business. You will be presentable, adaptable and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. More than just this, guest-focused, and genuinely enjoys the chance to make people smile! In addition to managing guest check-ins, the role requires a confident and professional approach to promoting our range of additional products and services. This includes informing customers about optional upgrades, activities, and enhancements that may complement their visit.Combining professional customer service in a fast-paced reception environment. The ability to work under pressure and excellent friendly customer skills are key.
Job Duties/Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Group/corporate bookings
· Checking in customers at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
- Deliver excellent customer service, at all times
- Administer all reservations, cancellations and no-shows, in line with company policy
· Answering incoming phone calls/email enquiries
- Keep up to date with current promotions and pricing, to provide information to customers, on request
- Conduct regular security checks, throughout the day and report any security issues to line manager
- Report any maintenance issues immediately to line manager, including all furniture, fittings and equipment
- Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office
· To ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of reception area and the venue
· To ensure the company’s booking system is correctly utilised
· To ensure golfers have paid the appropriate fees for the driving range and golf course.
· Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
Job Requirements/Skills:
· The ability to work a flexible schedule including day, night, and weekend shifts is essential as company operate 7 days a week 8am-10pm
· Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
· Professional and positive attitude
· Excellent organisational skills
· Customer service attitude
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Previous sales experience is not essential; however, applicants should be comfortable engaging with customers, identifying their needs, and making appropriate
· recommendations. Full training will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to carry out this aspect of the role effectively.
