The ideal candidate should have a L2 or equivalent in childcare / teaching with at least 1 years experience of working with children between ages 2 - 14.
Hummingbirds Nursery are looking for a bubbly individual to join our team. You will be working with our afterschool club, collecting children from a local school, bringing them to our setting and keeping them engaged in activities and play!
Role will include:
- collection from local school
- preparing food for the children
- planning activities and games for the different ages
- Maintain room and equipment to ensure the health and safety of children at all times
- Be aware of child protection procedures and advise the manager should you have any concerns about a child.
- Supervise homework activities.
- giving feedback to parents
- closing the nursery at end of day alongside a fellow member of staff
