Semper Services is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to take ownership of a varied portfolio of small works and larger mechanical projects across London. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical engineering background who is ready to step into a broader project delivery role.
You’ll work closely with the Contracts Manager and manage projects from initial site survey through to mobilisation, delivery, completion and close-out.
Key responsibilities include:
- Surveying and scoping mechanical works
- Coordinating engineers, suppliers and subcontractors
- Managing projects against scope, programme and budget
- Reviewing RAMS, permits and safe systems of work
- Monitoring labour, material and subcontractor costs
- Managing client communication and site delivery
- Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and ready for invoicing
We’re looking for someone with:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Plumbing, Heating, HVAC or a related discipline
- Strong practical mechanical or building-services experience
- Experience within facilities management, maintenance, building services or M&E contracting
- Experience surveying and managing mechanical works
- Strong health and safety knowledge
- Confidence working with clients and managing multiple projects
This role could suit an experienced Mechanical Supervisor, Mechanical Project Engineer or Project Manager looking to take greater ownership of project delivery and progress towards senior technical or operational leadership.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
