What you’ll be getting up to:
Join as a dynamic Assistant Manager, helping lead a fantastic team, training staff to create a memorable customer experience and making sales. You’ll report to the Store Manager and support the wider team with the day-to-day hustle and bustle of this well-established store!
What we need you to do:
- Lead by example on the shop floor, inspiring the team to exceed sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Take charge of the store confidently in the Store Manager’s absence.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching and ongoing development of Supervisors and Sales Advisors.
- Ensure the team builds and maintains strong product knowledge.
- Motivate the team with a positive, customer-first attitude and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
- Welcome every customer warmly and create memorable, engaging shopping experiences.
- Analyse store performance and take proactive action to boost results.
- Ensure stock accuracy through regular audits and strong operational control.
- Champion all health & safety standards, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
What we need from you:
- Proven experience as a Senior Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a busy retail environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering best-in-class service.
- Focused on achieving targets and motivated by delivering strong financial results
- Clear communicator, able to manage expectations in store and communicate performance.
- Ability to plan, organise and manage your own workload and that of others.
- IT literate and competent use of Microsoft Office packages.
- Strong leadership with a focus on mentoring and influencing your team.
- A positive outlook with a can-do attitude.
