We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced Baker to join our team at our bakery in Drongan.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled baker to join a busy production environment, producing a range of quality traditional bakery products.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be involved in the daily production of a variety of bakery products, including:
- Scones
- Bread
- Potato scones
- Crumpets
- Pancakes
- Other traditional bakery products
The role will also involve operating and working with commercial bakery machinery and equipment, with training provided on specific machinery where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, mixing and producing bakery products to a consistently high standard
- Following recipes and production methods accurately
- Operating commercial bakery machinery safely and efficiently
- Ensuring products are baked and finished to the required standard
- Maintaining consistent product quality throughout production
- Keeping the bakery, equipment and work areas clean and organised
- Following all food hygiene, health and safety procedures
- Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements
- Working as part of a team in a busy bakery environment
- Carrying out other general bakery duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Fully qualified as a Baker
- Experienced in a commercial bakery environment
- Confident working with bakery machinery
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work efficiently in a busy production environment
- Passionate about producing quality bakery products
- Committed to maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Flexible and willing to learn new production methods and machinery
Experience producing traditional bakery products would be an advantage.
