Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Traffic Manager to oversee the smooth flow of materials, equipment, and personnel within our operations. Duties
- Coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel across various sites to optimise workflow.
- Monitor and manage traffic flow within the facility, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of traffic routes using hand tools and power tools as required.
- Conduct inspections of mechanical systems related to traffic management, identifying potential issues early.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs or adjustments involving welding or mechanical knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of traffic movements and related activities for reporting purposes.
- Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in a similar traffic management or logistics role is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential, with practical experience in welding, using hand tools, and power tools highly desirable.
- Familiarity with traffic control systems, safety standards, and equipment operation is advantageous.
- Previous experience working in industrial or construction environments will be beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
