Athorpe Lodge Health Care Ltd are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis, working 36 hours per week.
This is a key leadership role for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting staff to maintain excellent standards for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting the care team on shift
- Administering medication in line with policies and procedures
- Delivering high-quality personal care while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing
- Following person-centred care plans and maintaining accurate documentation
- Acting as a role model for junior staff
- Liaising professionally with families and healthcare professionals
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures and CQC standards are consistently met
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to undertake)
- Previous experience as a Senior Carer or in a team leadership role
- Medication administration training and experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and IT skills
- A caring, professional, and responsible approach
Shift Pattern
36 hour position
08:00 – 20:00
3 days per week
48 hour position
08:00 – 20:00
4 days per week
