Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Semi-Skilled Assembly Fitters for our client based in Cramlington.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using both hand and power tools. As a Semi Skilled Assembly Fitter, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced production environment.
Duties
•* Assemble various components using hand tools and power tools according to specifications. *
•* Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate assembly. *
•* Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards. *
•* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. *
•* Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency. *
Experience Needed/ About You:
•* Proven experience working as a Semi Skilled Fitter or in a similar role *
•* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues. *
•* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools. *
•* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. *
•* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. *
•* A commitment to maintaining high safety standards in all tasks performed.*
•* Must be able to read technical drawings*
•* Must be able to read measuring tools*
•* Must have a decent standard of education in mathematics*
•* Must be able to use power tools*
•* Must be able to use hand tools*
Pay/ Salary:
•* £12.21ph - £13.68ph*
•* Overtime*
•* X 1.5*
Hours & Contract Type:
•* Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30*
•* Friday - 08:00 - 13:00*
