OHL Portfolio Coordinator

National Grid are recruiting a new and exciting OHL Portfolio Coordinator to join the Overhead Lines - Strategic Planning Team!

This is an excellent opportunity to support the coordination, management and reporting of the OHL portfolio. Working with stakeholders across Asset Operations and wider NGET delivery functions, you will help ensure portfolio information is accurate, up to date and available to support effective planning, governance and decision-making.

You will maintain the OHL Portfolio Workbook, support governance and maintain reporting inputs, action logs and portfolio records. The role will also support Power BI reporting, data quality controls and the continuous improvement of portfolio information processes and digital ways of working.

Working across multiple teams, you will build strong relationships, coordinate portfolio updates and help ensure a consistent, controlled and reliable source of portfolio information for the OHL business.

They support Asset Operations by sharing good practice and maintaining an up-to-date and accessible portfolio information environment, including workbook controls, version history, SharePoint guidance, Power BI reporting inputs, and supporting portfolio records.

This role will require some travel to National Grid offices and operational sites. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!

What You Do

Coordinate and maintain the systems and processes that support controlled visibility of OHL portfolio information, workbook updates, supporting documents and associated guidance.
Maintain the OHL portfolio workbook, ensuring updates to portfolio information, actions, dates, ownership, scope and supporting documents are captured accurately and in a controlled way.
Build and maintain effective relationships with nominated stakeholders across Asset Operations and relevant NGET delivery functions to support timely, accurate and consistent portfolio updates.
Engage with project, planning, and delivery teams to obtain updates, clarify changes, resolve data queries and ensure the workbook remains current and complete.
Support the administration and governance of the OHL portfolio SharePoint environment, including version history, access discipline, folder structure and controlled collaboration.
Maintain action logs, change records, workbook summaries and supporting portfolio records to support governance, stakeholder updates and reporting cycles.
Support portfolio reporting and Power BI outputs by maintaining structured data inputs, checking data quality and identifying gaps, duplication, inconsistencies and uncontrolled changes.
Support continuous improvement of OHL portfolio information processes, including stakeholder update routines, SharePoint usage, workbook control, reporting outputs and digital ways of working.

What You'll Have

Suitable technical, professional or business support qualification, or demonstrable experience.
Experience in stakeholder coordination, portfolio support, programme coordination, reporting, information management, data analysis or document control.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to obtain updates, clarify information and support consistent ways of working across multiple teams.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and Power BI.
Experience managing version-controlled documents, trackers, reporting datasets or collaborative information environments.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify gaps, duplication, inconsistencies and uncontrolled changes in shared information.
Ability to analyse, structure and present information clearly for different audiences.
A proactive, improvement-focused mindset, with confidence using digital tools to improve reporting, workbook control and information management.

What You'll Get

Salary up to £43,315 dependent on experience.

As well as your base salary you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance, a job requirement car and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
